Forsyth County Georgia

Forsyth’s reputation as a great place to live, work and play extends to a national scale with its 2008 ranking as one of Forbes’ “Best Places to Get Ahead” and as its recognition as the 13th wealthiest county in the nation. Between 2000 and 2008, the population grew 71 percent, due in part to the proximity of the county to businesses like The Coca-Cola Company, Delta Airlines and UPS. Access to fine dining and entertainment plus the stellar educational programs in the area make it an ideal environment for both families and young professionals. Local citizens find employment in such diverse fields as technology, medical, finance and retail. Major employers include technology giant, Scientific Games, Inc. and Northside Hospital. Small companies share room with over 40 international companies in the area. Of those 40, 15 international businesses have relocated their North American headquarters to Forsynth County.

Great outdoor opportunities abound in the form of multiple campgrounds, parks and nature preserves in the area. Local artists provide the county with a creative flair through multiple exhibits, artist events, galleries and performances.
