Henry County Georgia

A straight shot south of Atlanta on I-75, Henry county is just 30 minutes away from the airport and Downtown Atlanta. With a friendly climate, Southern neighborhoods, a solid education system, and plenty of recreational and economic opportunities, there’s little need to leave the county limits. Currently the third fastest-growing county in Georgia, Henry continues to experience growth. Major employers include the Federal Aviation Administration, Georgia Power, Henry County Schools and Henry County Government with retail, manufacturing, service and distribution serving as the top industries.

If commuting is a necessity, it’s easy to accomplish when you live in Henry. Located along 20 miles of I-75, the county claims seven interchanges to I-65, I-285, I-85 and I-20. For those coming into town for a weekend visit, there’s more than enough to do. Trail hiking and nature education abounds at Cubihatcha Outdoor Center and at Panola Mountain State Conservation Park. Meanwhile, racing fans will enjoy being in the center of it all at NASCAR host, Atlanta Motor Speedway. If you’re an animal lover, you’ll enjoy Noah’s Ark Animal Rehabilitation Center, while history buffs can visit Nash Farm Battlefield and Heritage Park Museum.
