On July 1, 2009, Appalachian, Chattahoochee and North Metro Technical colleges
merged to form the leading and largest technical college in the state. Chattahoochee
Technical College is accredited by the commission on colleges of the Southern
Association of Colleges and Schools to award associate degrees. Chattahoochee
