Clayton State University is conveniently located just outside the Atlanta Perimeter.
Offering a variety of advanced degree options, including eight different master’s
degree programs, Clayton State University is home to a variety of students looking
to advance their personal and professional experience. One of Clayton State’s
fastest growing graduate programs is the Master of Business Administration.
In April 2006, Clayton State University’s School of Business earned AACSB
accreditation, allowing them to join ranks with the best MBA programs in the
world. In October 2008, Clayton State dedicated the new School of Business Building,
enabling them to meet the growing needs of their graduate students.
The Master of Business Administration (MBA) is a 20-month program designed for
working professionals who are seeking to further their careers. Understanding
the time constraints placed on working students, the MBA program is primarily
offered on weekends and utilizes the online classroom to allow busy executives
to use their time most effectively. The vision of the School of Business at
Clayton State University “is to be increasingly recognized throughout
the Southeast for the high quality of our programs, the quality of our graduates,
and our willingness to meet the needs of our business community.”
The MBA program offers classes in Accounting, Finance, International Business
and Global Logistics, Communication and Leadership, as well as many other courses
that prepare students to enter the upper levels of business management with
the confidence and skills necessary to excel.
The Graduate program is comprised of dedicated faculty members who combine a
passion for teaching with real-world business experience. They take pride in
the success of their students, both in the classroom and in the business world.
Recently, Dr. Alphonso Ogbuehi was named the new Dean of the School of Business.
His prior experience, as Dean of Park University’s School of Business
in Missouri, will help Clayton State University grow and expand its MBA program.
