Study Ranks Safest Cities in Georgia for 2016
On the list of requirements for relocators considering where to live in Georgia, safety typically tops the list. Home security comparison website Credit Donkey has ranked the top fifty safest cities in the Peach state to help narrow down your search.
According to the site, Credit Donkey created the list from the FBI’s 2014 Uniform Crime Report Data to analyze crime data for all of Georgia’s cities with a population of 2,500 or more, considering both violent and property crimes. To finalize the rankings, the site examined violent crimes and property crimes per 1,000 residents.
Northern Fulton County cities Johns Creek (No. 3) and Milton (No. 5) took the top spots for metro Atlanta area cities.
