Working in Atlanta

Working in Atlanta

In 2017, the Bureau of Labor Statistics named metro Atlanta as one of the nation’s top 25 metro areas with the fastest job growth. Thousands of jobs have poured into Atlanta and its surrounding communities in recent years, with myriad companies deciding to call the area home. In fact, in early 2018, the Department of Labor revealed that Atlanta had its strongest February for hiring in seven years, adding nearly 21,000 jobs to the economy across a wide range of industries. And while the numbers themselves are impressive, there’s another reason that Atlanta’s job growth truly stands out.

Of course, many of the new jobs hitting the market can be found within the city limits, offered by companies that are located in the main business districts of Downtown Atlanta, Midtown Atlanta and Buckhead. Yet, an array of opportunities can be found in counties throughout the metro area as well. Companies of all sizes are taking advantage of being both inside and outside the perimeter and choosing the communities that make the most sense for their business goals. Whether they are relocating or expanding current operations, these organizations are helping to place the metro Atlanta job market in the spotlight. According to the Metro Atlanta Chamber, the following companies are just a few of the trailblazers that are creating and bringing jobs at all levels to communities throughout the area.
